Trissels has an active Mennonite Women group that meets for fellowship every month.

They gather around common service projects and a shared meal. The projects help those in our community and persons around the world -- for instance, making blankets or school kits which are distributed to refugees and displaced families by MCC, the international service arm of the Mennonite church.

They meet on the second Wednesday of every month at 10 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. They gather for a work day on a wide range of sewing projects. Hand work on fine stitch and long stitch quilts continues on a regular basis. Knotted comforters are completed each month. A recent goal achieved was the completion of 36 Sewing kits for MCC. Projects such as assembling 200+ school kits occur annually. Of course, a highlight of each sewing day is the shared fellowship meal at noon.
