Mission Statement
To know Christ, so that we may be transformed into his likeness, and to make him known, so that God's grace,
healing, and hope flow through us to the world.
Four Spiritual Truths
-
A God of love made each of us as a good part of creation, intending us to live at peace with God, our world and one another.
-
Sin destroys harmony in creation and yields control to the powers of darkness. Suffering, greed, violence and broken relationships result.
-
Jesus confronted the powers that fracture our world and they killed him on the cross. He did not retaliate but absorbed the pain and violence of evil. Three days later he triumphed over death and all darkness!
-
God forgives us and gives us a new beginning when we confess our sin. The Spirit of God enables us to follow Jesus, pushing back the powers of darkness as he did.
