Important things can happen in small-groups.
Building friendship, belonging.
• Celebrating each others' life milestones and accomplishments
• Praying with one another in hard times

Application of Scripture, living out our faith in Jesus.
• Doing something good together (service projects, outreach)
• Debriefing our lives; talking about moments of temptation, anger,
fear; helping each other know and obey Christ

Ministry gifts emerge and develop.

At Trissels some small-groups meet weekly (young adult Bible study and fellowship; men's early morning prayer; other short-term groups), some bi-weekly (high school youth group; several groups of adults building friendship and living out their faith), and one monthly (women's group involving sewing, crafts, meal, devotional and fellowship).

For more info or to participate, contact Harold at or 896-7289 (office).

We also have e-groups for our members and regular attenders:

Congregational Notification - a simple email sent to all known emails at Trissels.
When you have an all-church announcement that cannot wait until Sunday's bulletin, give it to Grace or Harold who can send it out. Keep these brief and rare!

link hands in prayer Prayer Chain - emails sharing prayer concerns, praises, updates. These are only sent to those who indicate that they want them. We also send them sparingly -- for instance, we seldom use them for prayer requests about persons outside the congregation.
You can initiate a prayer item at anytime: give it to Grace or Harold (via email or the phone) who will email it to the congregation. Items received by Friday noon can generally be summarized in the bulletin as well.
